The Chesapeake Alliance today announced the Board of Directors for its recently formed Leadership Circle.

Chairman David Ropp said, “We have selected some of the most influential, diverse, and forward-thinking
businesspeople in Chesapeake. They, along with our general membership will discuss and deep dive on
several important projects and activities for the city, providing valuable input from the business community.”
The Chesapeake Alliance is a 501 C (6), non-profit organization originally established in the late 1990’s with
the mission of providing a “voice of business” in support of important initiatives for the City of Chesapeake.
The establishment of the Leadership Circle is an effort to identify and attract influential business leaders in the
city to ensure that the proper level of business feedback and representation is available to Chesapeake City
Council and key city officials.
